By downloading, installing, or using headlight (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Beta software

headlight is currently in private beta. The App is provided for testing and feedback purposes only. Features may change, break, or be removed between releases. We may add, remove, or revoke beta access at any time.

Use of the App

You may use headlight only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations, infringe on the rights of others, transmit harmful or malicious content, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account.

Your Google account

headlight connects to your Google account using Google's standard OAuth flow. You are responsible for the security of your Google credentials and for all activity on your Google account. You can revoke headlight's access at any time from your Google account permissions page. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use headlight.

Intellectual property

The App's code, design, and branding are owned by headlight and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the App without prior written permission. Your files remain entirely yours; these Terms grant us no rights over the content of your Drive.

Disclaimers

headlight is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Google Drive configuration. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including data loss, lost work, or account issues.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to headlight at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms or the end of the private beta. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its Google permissions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
